Even though 4.2.2 version will be the last Android upgrade for those, let's not forget how old some of them actually are and how many previous updates they've got (this will be the third major update for the Galaxy S II). And when you think about the update policy of other manufacturers (if it even exists), Samsung did a commendable job keeping its high-end devices up to date.
Correct behaviour:You serve it a canvas element and it renders what it is on it. It works on all possible android versions we were able to test except the 4.2.2. . Hello! I have an older tablet - Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 running Android 4.2.2 - that I had Dropbox installed on, until I had to do a factory reset. Now, I can't install from Google Play store, as the current version is not compatible with my device.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a comprehensive source for this information, but you can usually deduce what version is appropriate by reading through old forum posts on various fora. The link below will give you a chronology of the various Dropbox for android versions, you can correllate that with the chronology of the Android versions to limit the possibilities.
If you bought your Galaxy Nexus from Verizon, however, your phone has been stuck on Android 4.1.1 since September (about three months after other Nexus devices received that update). This further cements Verizon's reputation as the slowest of the US carriers to test, approve, and distribute Android updates, even on phones that use prompt access to Android updates as one of their primary selling points. If you haven't yet lost patience with Verizon and flashed your phone with another ROM, Android Police has found a ZIP file containing the Verizon Galaxy Nexus' Android 4.2.2 update on Google's servers, implying that Verizon approval of the update (and subsequent over-the-air distribution) is imminent. Once it finally gets here, your phone will have all of the features of Android 4.2 along with the fixes and additions made in versions 4.2.1 and 4.2.2. 59ce067264
