Sniper Elite V2 Offline Lan 14 WORK
Sniper Elite V2 is a third-person tactical shooter that emphasizes a less direct approach to combat, encouraging the player to use stealth and keep their distance from enemy soldiers. Most of the single player campaign missions provide multiple routes for the player to take, including multi-story buildings and side streets, to get vantage points and to hide from pursuing enemies. Set in World War II, the player character utilises appropriate weapons for the era. The sniper rifle is the primary weapon throughout the game, with a variety of submachine guns and pistols available as side arms. In addition to hand grenades, the player can deploy tripwire booby traps, anti-infantry land mines, and dynamite. Binoculars can be used to tag enemies in view, displaying their position and movements to the player. When using the sniper rifle, certain elements can determine the outcome of a shot, taking realistic ballistics into consideration such as wind direction and strength and bullet drop potentially altering the shot through the scope. Bullets can ricochet off surfaces or targets and strike others. Different postures, including crouching or lying down on the front, can also steady a shot, and the player character also has the ability to take a deep breath which from their perspective appears to slow down time. Another key ability is that when the player character is spotted, their last movements and position to the enemy is shown as a white-outlined figure, potentially allowing the player to escape that area while enemy soldiers fire at the wrong target.

A major feature of V2 is the "X-Ray Kill Cam" where a successful and skilled shot will be followed in slow motion from the bullet shooting out of the sniper rifle to the target where upon impact the player will be shown an anatomically correct X-ray style reveal of the body part being hit and the damage the bullet causes to the target's organs and bones. Sniping can also be used to shoot the enemies' own grenades, killing them and anyone nearby. This method can also be used against military vehicles by targeting fuel tanks and valves, and can even detonate fuel canisters and artillery shells marked with red paint. The game will also measure notable shots by briefly displaying distance and other factors like whether it was a head shot or moving target.
V2 supports online multiplayer where players engage in cooperative play in a series of game modes. Kill Tally is a mode where two players fend off increasingly numerous and difficult waves of enemy soldiers and vehicles in an enclosed environment with an infinite supply point of ammunition and explosives. While players can compete for higher kill counts, both must keep each other alive and work together. Bombing Run is a mission based mode where players must search the environment in order to repair a truck to escape before the entire area is bombed. The third mode is Overwatch, where two players take different roles to complete an objective with one player as the operative who undertakes said objectives and is armed with short range firearms and binoculars that can be used to tag enemies for the second player, who takes the role of a sniper who covers the operative throughout. In addition to these separate game modes, missions from the single player campaign can also be played with two players. The Wii U version of the game, however, omits multiplayer, leaderboard and co-op modes.
The protagonist is U.S. Army Second Lieutenant Karl Fairburne (Tom Clarke-Hill), a German-American OSS operative and skilled sniper who is inserted into Berlin in 1945, during the final days of World War II. The game starts with Fairburne discussing Operation Paperclip and its predecessor, Operation Overcast, as the United States makes an effort to recruit the top scientific personnel of Nazi Germany with offers of employment. Fairburne is tasked with tracking down key individuals involved with the development of the V-2, which pits him against both the fanatical German forces defending Berlin and the invading Soviet forces who are eager to recruit the scientists to their side.
GameSpy writes the AI has some moments of brillance, mixed with complete stupidity, however he admits it allows killing enemies in exciting way. He complains the enemies respawn until the player reaches certain checkpoints, which makes no sense in a game about a sniper.
This can be fixed by disabling the anti-virus program running. In addition, in the game prologue only the binoculars can be used (b key) at first. Zoom in and out with them, check out the buildings etc. as directed on screen.Once the game decides you have operated the binoculars properly, the sniper is allowed to move. At this stageno aiming or firing of a gun is allowed. Follow the on-screen directions up to laying a trip mine. Shortly afterthe sniper must display ducking for cover and quickly emerging to take out a guard. Once completed the game properbegins!
This achievement can be obtained on Mission 8, Kreuzberg Headquarters. Near the end of the mission you will reach a building where you find the documents. There will be a cutscene where you are getting sniped at and have to go prone. There will be 8 snipers that you will need to kill on top of the rooftops. Take them all out and the achievement is yours.
After you have finished the Prologue go back to chapter select and start it again. When it asks if you want to skip tutorial select 'Yes' and it will start you near the end of the level. All you have to do is make sure you only use your sniper to kill your enemies and every shot must hit. Very easy to unlock on Cadet difficulty.
Each kill gives you a distance in which you made the shot from, each time you get a sniper kill the distance will accumulate. You need 42,000kms (26 miles) total for this achievement to unlock. You will easily get over the course of your two playthroughs and online run.
Updated January 18, 2022 by Michael Llewellyn: Considered the intellectual's action genre, stealth games require careful thought and planning when tackling missions. One of the most satisfying weapons to use in a game that implements stealth mechanics is the sniper rifle. Picking off opponents and enemies from a distance while remaining hidden is just as much fun as running and gunning down enemies in succession with games like Doom. Thanks to the advancements in gaming worlds and technology many action games offer the player a choice between stealth, sniping, and pure action. This list has been updated to reflect the effective implementation of sniper rifles whether it's in pure sniping games or action games where a rifle is a vital tool to success.
Furthermore, the implementations of stealth and sniper mechanics are as good as the series have ever been. Most rifles in the game can be modified and upgraded into sniper-like weapons and dedicated sniper rifles have a sense of individuality each with their own strengths and weaknesses that can be exploited by the player.
As a result, using weapons like the sniper rifle feels more immersive, making the player feel even more like a secret agent. With the PC VR version recently announced, players will get to experience one of the best sniper games on the PC.
Sniper Elite VR puts the players back into the Italian setting of the fourth in the game series. This time, players are taking part in the action as a member of the Italian Resistance. The throwaway story is B-movie level, but the action, open levels, and sniper mechanics are superb.
Some of the best weapons in the game are the sniper rifles which offer players a great way through the game if they prefer a more stealthy approach. The Breakthrough sniper rifle, for example, can shoot through concrete walls and the Ashura Smart sniper even fires guided missiles that can seek out headshots automatically.
Some of the coolest weapons in Battlefront II are the sniper rifles, and they feel unique to the Star Wars universe. Whether one is playing the campaign or the multiplayer, getting good with a sniper rifle will make them a force to be reckoned with.
One of the first weapons that makes use of the game's very solid stealth mechanics was the sniper rifle. It was one of the most satisfying weapons in the game and gave players the exact feeling of empowerment that one should feel when sniping enemies from a hidden location.
Of course, the sniping experience in Far Cry 5 is one of the most expertly implemented in a Ubisoft title. Using the AR-CL is one of the best all-around sniper rifles and indeed weapons in the game. When equipped with a scope and silencer the AR-CL will be a mainstay in the player's arsenal.
Despite the more focused structure the missions are still designed to be semi-open and provide players with a lot of freedom to approach targets. The realistic bullet physics and the need for precision and timing make Contracts one of the most hardcore sniper experiences available.
This also includes the use of a sniper rifle in a variety of maps which often have perfect vantage points that need to be found and exploited. The best way to approach the intended target with a sniper rifle is to observe them and use the right opportunities to create openings and distractions.
For people who enjoy shooter games but prefer to take a more tactical approach to situations, it's hard to go wrong with one of the many incredible sniper games that exist. Sniper games often combine similar elements, but one common thing that links them is how much tougher they can be compared to general shooter games.
Many of the best sniper games require you to take your time, stalking your future target to learn their schedules or movement patterns before you make your move. Thanks to their innovative nature, some games feature unique mechanics that help them stand out even within the sniper genre.
In some of them, you have to use a sniper, while in others, you get the option. Either way, there are some great sniper games out there. A bunch of them made it onto the original version of this list. We've now added a few more.
